Hey there,
to properly introduce myself. I am Jan-Philip Paar, a 22 years old media designer based in Fulda.
Just a short passage about what I've done in the past years.
Before finishing school, I've done a gap year in Brasil (2017/ 2018). I was taking part in the RYE (Rotary Youth Exchange Programm).
I finihsed my A levels (german Abitur) in 2020 at the Winfriedschule Fulda.
After finishing school I started my apprenticeship as a media designer in WĆ¼rzburg. Working in a small Marketing and Software Agency I was able to gain a lot of insights how Design is treated in both areas.
2,5 years later (February 2023) I succesfully finished the apprenticeship.
Beside working I also have hobbies of course.
Since being creative is my Passion, I really enjoy doing creative stuff in my freetime. It differs from doing photoshootings with friends, writing my website, a little DYI Project or learning new Software.
As an former Exchange Student in the Rotary Youth Exchange, I volunteer there as a Rotex. Being Rotex entails working with current, former and incoming Exchange students.

Over the past 5 years, I have successfully utilized XD, Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Lightroom, Premiere Pro, and After Effects to create impactful assets for social media, engaging recruitment videos, online courses, and stunning photo enhancements in Lightroom. These tools have consistently supported my creative process, allowing me to deliver high-quality designs efficiently. I am constantly exploring new versions and features, embracing opportunities to further enhance my skills and incorporate them into my workflow.

With expertise in HTML, CSS, SCSS, JavaScript, WordPress, and familiarity with PHP, Shopware, hosting, servers, and Docker, my web development journey spans around 3 years. I have created WordPress websites for clients and friends, developed my own website, and contributed to the creation of Shopware web shops. While my goal is to become a full-stack developer, I currently excel more in front-end development. I have worked extensively with WordPress and have plans to delve into popular frameworks. To stay up-to-date, I actively engage in working through tutorials and immerse myself in the ever-evolving web development landscape

I have conducted numerous photo shoots for friends and clients and embarked on small-scale film productions for online courses and promotional projects. Excelling in scene lighting, infrastructure planning for projects, and post-editing, I ensure captivating visual narratives. By staying updated on the latest trends and advancements in visuography, I continuously refine my skills, ensuring remarkable and immersive visual experiences.
