Kneshecke
The barbecue restaurant Kneshecke is a family owned business in Hesse, Germany. It is well known for its various grilled dishes. Kneshecke regularly organizes events and workshops around barbecuing. In a small shop next to the restaurant, self-made products as well as grilling articles from known brands are sold. This project entails various subtasks, such as redesigning the old logo while still staying true to the original, as well as designing logos / icons for upcoming products or events. Professional Photographs and a reworked brand image help to advertise the business in printed form, as well as on social media.

Kneshecke used to be only black and white. The new colour palette introduces vividness, inspired by the blazing flames of the grill.
The secluded “k” from kneshecke is easier to recognize than the complex Logo. It complements the design language of the restaurant. For further logo designs, the signature typography is used to also make the brand recognisable. The implementation of a small flame or icons here and there gives the brand a playful character, which the restaurant always had.
The kneshecken project is an ongoing adventure. With the applied improvements regarding the design of products and branding, kneshecke has further developed its successful business. I am looking forward to continue working with the kneshecken team.
